Casita de Chocolate (hereinafter referred to as “the Organization”) is a legally incorporated no profit making organization domiciled in the Republic of South Africa and registered in terms of the law of the Republic, in particular the non profit organization (act, 1997 No 71) as amended. The Organization was registered in August 2002 with the Registrar of non profit organizations. The principal description of the business is providing basic (formal) education.

The idea of the starting a business was by founder member Elizabeth Lokwe. The concept was initiated when the member saw it necessary to provide basic education to the community and its surroundings.
